Healthy Business: Diversity Driving Business Results

unnamed

Diversity is a driving force for many high performing companies. Product innovation, improved service and increased consumer confidence are often direct results of having an organization powered by talent with diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Join us as we discuss how Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts has leveraged diversity to address the healthcare needs of a changing marketplace in the areas of sales, marketing, supplier diversity, chronic condition management, as well as talent acquisition and retention. During this interactive dialogue, leaders will share the successes and challenges of fostering an inclusive organization and how a comprehensive diversity strategy drives positive business results.

Happy Holidays

Dear Friends,

As we gather together this holiday season with our friends an family it is inescapably clear that the LGBT community has much to me thankful for and much to celebrate.  2013 will be marked in LGBT history as a year of unparalleled success. Let us remember however; that success is never an accident.  It happens because of commitment and dedicated focus to a cause.  To all of you who have given so much both personally and professionally, thank you.

2013 brought many other unexpected events as well.  Our city saw tragedy with the Boston Marathon Bombings, but the world saw what it meant be “Boston Strong”. The Red Sox won the World Series and we saw the changing of the guards for Boston’s mayor.

As we celebrate all that has come to pass, let us all recommit ourselves to building upon the successes of 2013 and remember the best is yet to come!  The GBBC is committed to the efforts of economic progress and equality in business.  Please join us this year and be a part of what is sure to be another historic year for the LGBT Community.

Best Wishes for a Happy and Healthy Holiday Season.

Valerie Clark
President of the GBBC
